| Installation and Support Engineer, Linux, Ipswich, £20k Installation and Support Engineer, Linux, Ipswich, £20k. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Installation and Support Engineer to be based in Ipswich. You must have excellent experience working in Linux and Windows environments. You will be a highly motivated, methodical and technically competent individual to manage the process of implementing changes to the quality assurance and operational ICT infrastructure alongside providing first line support for customer issues. You will report to the Operations Manager and will liaise heavily with change management and QA personnel to ensure that changes (typically installations and upgrades of custom applications) are implemented as required. You will to demonstrate your ability, successfully work under pressure, to targets and deadlines along with the ability to assimilate and articulate technical information. You will have good experience with Microsoft Windows environments and Linux server environments.
