| Support Engineer, 6 - 12 month contract, London My client is currently looking for a Support Engineer for a 6 to 12 month contract role based in London. Essential skills and experience required for the role are: *Solid knowledge of Unix and Unix C shell scripting *Database programming and design experience - preferably Sybase ASE 12.5 or higher *Experience of stored procedure work and an understanding of Database maintenance *Experience with Autosys *Production services experience - preferably ITIL *Knowledge of Fixed income concepts and trade life cycle events Desired and beneficial skills are: *Experience of C/C++ programming *Experience of Weblogic or other JAVA Environments *TIBCO *Trade/Position accounting experience The client have been fairly strict with the rates for this role - so please note that the maximum we can pay is around £150 per day.
