UNIX Operations Shift Engineer - £28 - £34K : Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
An exciting opportunity in an Operations Shift Engineer role with a market leading Web Based Company whom are seeking a talented individual to work in the Hatfield, Hertfordshire area. Experience with Unix, SQL/Oracle is essential as is a familiarity with TCP/IP networking and NT & Windows 200 domain based systems. The candidate must have a keen eye for detail and a methodological approach to problem solving, whilst demonstrating good communications skills and the ability to work under pressure. The role will involve monitoring all IT environments, managing updates & any critical issues. Liaising with business at all levels will be required as is the management of customer service calls and the aptitude to develop and improve upon processes of on-going project work. As the job involves shift work the candidate must be flexible with your time. The successful candidate can look forward to outstanding benefits and a competitive salary.
