| Software Test Engineer Our client is looking for talented & motivated individuals looking to move into the role of Software Test Engineer within a highly recognised company. The role of Software Test Engineer calls for an experienced candidate with the ability to successfully develop and run the testing facility designed to support the General Data Acquisition (GDA). The successful test engineer will work closely with GDA, the main data acquisition system for the diverse facilities within the company. Knowledge in Java, GUI and Jython is essential due to the design of GDA and its hardware interface components. The main duties of the Software Test Engineer are as follows: - Testing and installing GDA in the current facilities. - Looking after the selection, configuration and running an integration facility for GDA development. - Further to this you will be in charge of writing unit and system tests in Java and Jython to be used within the facility. Experience in unit and system testing, Java, Python or similar scripting language and experience in people and project management is not require but will allow access to appointment at the higher level. Software Test Engineers must possess at least two years + relevant experience to be eligible for the role. Successful candidates can look forward to occasional travel in the UK and overseas, plus a competitive salary of £32,000, although this is flexible depending on background and experience APPLY NOW! | ||
