| Our client urgently requires a Senior System Admin Engineer to work within their NOC (Network Operations Centre).To apply you must have NOC exp & proven exp within a large ISP/ASP Server Infrastructure.Essential skills include:Strong Unix Server skills - solaris/linux/free bsd required,as is advanced trouble-shooting & diagnostic experience.Microsoft Server Skills - 2000 Advanced Server, IIS v5, Terminal services (MMC), MS SQL Server; Microsoft 2003 Advanced Server,MS Exchange Server required essential.Knowledge of Perl, SED, AWK, Shell (bourne/bash) + CGI Scripts are required. ISP technologies such as HTTP, DNS (Bind), LDAP,Radius, NFS, SMTP, POP & IMAP, EXIM, Apache + SSH is required. Exp of adding packages/Security updates is required.In this role you will be responsible for permforming support of the companies hosted systems & will resolve issues by analyzing trends,using advanced fault mgmt & isolation tools, to provide the best solution for Customer & Network probs.Urgent vacancy |
