As an AIM listed leading solutions provider the need for a Windows OS/Exchange/Outlook/Network ICT Support Technician to join the support team has arisen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a relatively experienced 1st line support or graduate with commercial experience to join a truly global company.
The general responsibilities in the role of Windows OS/Exchange/Outlook/Network ICT Support Technician will be the monitoring of call logging software, fault finding and response, preparation of laptops and servers. Additionally ensuring backup and other essential networking services are functional, stock processing and asset register maintenance, and active out of hours support rota participation.
The role of Windows OS/Exchange/Outlook/Network ICT Support Technician will require the right candidate to have excellent working knowledge of Windows operating systems from installation to support. Good working knowledge of general ICT and of MS Office and Outlook and logical, precise fault finding capabilities for TCP/IP networking, Outlook/Exchange and wireless networking is a must. Knowledge of SQL, IIS, VPN, Exchange and Active Directory and any commercial experience in a desktop support6 environment will be a distinct advantage.
