| C/C++ Embedded Image and Signal Processing Software Engineer, £35K, Bracknell, World Leader - C/C++, real time, embedded - Security Clearance is beneficial One of my top clients based in brand new offices in the centre of Bracknell are currently looking for C/C++ Embedded Software Engineers. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: ? Design, development and testing of embedded and / or PC software for image processing applications. ? Preparation of software design documentation. ? Maintain up to date job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. REQUIREMENTS: ? Degree in a relevant discipline such as software, electronics, mathematics or physics. ? Knowledge of image or signal processing, computer vision and/or electro optics systems would be beneficial. ? Previous relevant work experience in one or more of the following areas: ? C/C++ application development in a real time, embedded environment. ? Strong knowledge in object oriented design methodologies. ? RTOS environments such as VxWorks. ? Working knowledge of microprocessor and FPGA hardware is an advantage. ? Experience of working directly with customers is an advantage. ? Good written and verbal communications, as well as good documentation skills required. ? Enthusiastic team player but able to work on own initiative | ||
