Linux System Administrator required for a new 4 month contract role based in Oxfordshire.
As Linux System Administrator you will provide high quality system administration support including installation and configuration of raid arrays and disc servers.
Your skills will include the following: General Linux System Administration skills (preferably in a distributed environment), experience of working in an operational environment, In depth knowledge of Puppet, Kick Start and associated tools, Nagios & Ganglia, a good understanding of x86 and RAID hardware, Shell scripting, an ability to install and configure hardware, especially disc servers and raid arrays.
Desirable skills include: Perl and/or Python, Load balancing with Mongrel and Apache, experience of subversion, Some SQL knowledge, C++, Knowledge and experience of data storage technology.
